Steak... Fried or Grilled?


My lovin' man made dinner tonight. (It was his night. We take turns)
He made one of my all time favorites, Country fried steak with gravy, rice and butter beans!
That boy knows his stuff when it comes to country cookin'.
I raved about his menu and moaned delight with every bite. (You gotta play it when you've got a good thing!).
He asked me halfway through the meal if I preferred steak fried or grilled.
I had to think a moment before I decided it was like comparing apples to oranges.... They're both steak, but entirely different. I couldn't answer because his grilled steak is sooo awsome!
He let me off the hook.
He's the coolest of cool.

Crazy Eyes


Sometimes I wish I had crazy eyes.
That way I could talk with two people at once without having to turn my head.

A Watched Pot


Why is it everything I cook seems to come to a gentle boil except spaghetti sauce?
The very instant spaghetti sauce comes to a boil, the first bubble erupts like Mount Saint Helens and makes the kitchen look like a group shotgun suicide just occurred.
